Food 1#

I know I only wanted to post my food in the food page but I thought I’ll just blog about it too. This is a dish I created on Monday. I couldn’t go to the store because on the one hand I didn’t had any time and on the other hand my puppy can’t stay alone at home for more than 20 minutes so far.

Egg and Cheese Rice with Tuna and topped with a mushroom-chili sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 serving rice for one person (I used white rice)
  • mushroom sauce (for example from knorr or you can make your own)
  • 4 tbl spoons of chili powder or sauce
  • 1 egg
  • about 30g cheese (I user lowfat cheddar cheese)
  •  1 can of tuna (I used canned tunfish in water)

Recipe:

Cook the rice: I used about 1/2 of a small tea cup. (Dont forget to wash the rice) Putting the rice in the pot with 2 the amount of water than the rice, so about 1 full glass and a small piece of butter. While cooking, if needed put some more water in. Cooking time is about 10 to 15 minutes.

Adding ingredients: After the rice is fully cooked, add the egg and stir it for a while. Then add the cheese and stir the whole thing for a while, until cheese and egg is cooked. Then you can add the can of tuna (without the water or oil of course).

mushroom-sauce: Since I used a sauce where you just add water, I put the pulver in the pan and added the cold water. Then add as much chili as needed. I put 4 table spoons of chili sauce in. Then just heat up the sauce and done.

In the end just add the rice with the sauce and done.

total calories: about 335 calories (depends on the ingredients that you used)

If you guys cook it, let me know if you liked it 😀
